Résumé

I am a student at the IT-University of Copenhagen, Denmark. I moved to Atlanta, GA in the US, to study for the second year of a three year bachelor degree: Digital Media and Design. In the past I have completed HTX, IT-College, been in the Danish army and studied Business Administration and Organizational Communication for one year. I like to be involved in various organizations and that is why I am a member of a committee managing some apartments in Copenhagen.

Interests

All my interests are in some way rooted in information technology. I am very excited about how different platforms interact and how technology evolves. Other than that, I listen to music constantly and I make a virtue of keeping in shape and eating healthy.

HTX / IT-College Denmark

I left home at the age of 16 and entered a school called IT-College Denmark, it was basically a standard HTX education with extra courses in IT related matter like Microsoft certifications, web coding, Java etc.

Danish army

I was in the army for four months. I have always been determined to join the army, and besides the great amount of fun and experiences, it was very educational.

Business Administration and Organizational Communication

I originally started my education at Copenhagen Business School, I learned that this was not for me. I wanted more freedom, innovation and creativity, so I finished the first year and began studying Digital Media and Design. The year at CBS was not a waste because it was focused on communication within a corporation and from the corporation to the world. CBS gave me an understanding for communication which looks very useful in any way.

Digital Media and Design

The IT-University of Copenhagen is a small university, but it involves very innovative and inspiring people and surroundings. Digital Media and Design is in short focusing on how it is possible to combine several media and platforms into one cross media campaign or -product and how it is done in an intuitive and user-friendly way. How can newspapers, smart phones, computers and televisions be combined to contribute differently to one single product? What really excites me about this bachelor degree is that it is hands-on but more importantly strategic and innovative.

Georgia Institute of Technology

Even though ITU provided all I could want from a University in Denmark, I decided to do my second year at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. The reason for this is that they have some great courses offered there. I was also drawn by the experience to learn how to immerse myself in the English language in a more native way.
